Damn you bastards!! My SHO is not considered import/sport compact so I can't go racing... I'd smoke all of you with my import powered domestic!! haha

Still no PPF, still no drag race the 7

Well I have a long list of things that I need or want done and not the money to do it currently. I'm hoping to start this fall. Just gonna rebuild the engine and add some more power. But If I had a new PPF I'd trip permit the FD down tonight.

it started at 4... scheduled ending was at 11. I left just before 10. Good turnout. I only got 3 runs all night cuz there was a crash on the track that delayed racing for about an hour and a half...

SHO ran a best ET of 15.500 @214mph on run 1, run 2 was a 16.7@30mph (it's an auto, had some obvious traction issues), and run 3 was a 15.7 @ 107mph... In case you were wondering their speed metering system was kinda screwy tonight...

i was disappointed with my times as well. first run. 14.55@30.98mph. second run 14.8@24mph and 3rd run.. 15.8@300 something mph. ( not sure becuase tim took my ticket lol. last run a coupler came off half way threw the track. took me long *** time to fix it becuae it was the one underneith(spl?) the bumber.. and didnt have the right tools so had to jimmy rig the bastard to get home. lol 45 minute drive making sure i used no boost.. sucked but made it home. ( note i still have NA drivetrain so i was taking the launches kinda easy. )

Pat, talk to you friend about that s5 Front bumper, i want to get rid of the poopy s4 one.

BUT my engine blew on the drive home =(
how the hell did you accomplish that one? lol

man my car wasnt running too hot tonight, need to tighten down some coolant hoses and get some new exhaust, stock stuff is leaking in 2-3 different spots and the backpressure from the cats on my streetport is killing me. only ran twice to be sure my car was still alive by the end of the night. shifting at 5800-6grand got me a best of 15.6@86mph. sad i know sad to hear about your engine man, hope to see that thing up and running again soon, i want to see that down in the 13's

i dunno how it happened i was driving home almost going up the hill on 18 and i was giving it gas in 4th, and i looked back and there was a lot of smoke so i pulled over and it felt like my plugs fouled, but we took them out and i cranked it and theres nothing comming out of the rear rotor. but i dont know how it happened seeing as how my a/f was fine i wasnt detonating, oil was fine, wasnt over heating...its those damn j spec engines, so i think im gonna rebuild this one and by a daily driver for now.

and tandolla i will talk to him today about it and get back to you

I'd have to say the best part of the evening other than being matched unevenly against fast cars and getting my *** kicked would be Twilight's story about racing an FD on Boeing freeway in Everett/Mukilteo and it turned out it was mine lol Ahh memories

Setting MBC to 10lbs and spiking to 20 is way cooler than blowing an I/C pipe coupler.
