Oregon Rx-7 Owners
It looks like the Washington thread was doing good so I thought I would post a Oregon thread.
I know there have been threads in the past, but lets get a updated thread going.
I know you guys are out there there are 97 FDs alone in Oregon according to the newly released registry info

Hey Richard, where did you get your various parts chromed at….they look nice. It would be a nice substitute for those slightly oxidized and older looking parts
I have read harley places are capable of doing a good job, but never inquired.
synesthete looks good as well as long as its clean and strait, the rotary love is there.
I remember working on a really nice GTU with my cousin back in the day, great cars in there own right. Sadly it was flipped, probably one of the nicest cleanest 2nd gens I had ever seen.

If you want polishing done, I highly recomend Beaver Metal polishing. While I have'nt done business with him in a quite some time Henry (The owner) did *alot* of Freightliner stuff, not to mention his dozens of bikes he owns. He's located on in Millwalkie just off of 99E. If you want an adress I could probably scrounge one up. But if you do go to him, please tell him I said Hi. CJ
BTW, 93 B. Black Base model with a couple bolt-ons.

I had a local place here in Eugene/Springfield do the polishing and chrome work (turbojeff recommended the place). They do great work and fairly inexpensive. Let me know if you want the name of the company let me know.

I very, very rarely see anouther rotary car at Woodburn. When I do go, my car usually gets alot of attention. The next time I think I'm going to be down there is the Friday night drags season opener. There usually is'nt very many people if you get in the gates early. I've ran 12+ times in just a couple hours.
Is the rail in the background rotary powered? CJ

haha yeah i had a moment of inspiration at the coast. i have that as my wallpaper. thought you guys would get a kick out of it.
when i get my FD here in a week or so i'll go to the same spot and take a picture of it just like this one too
just wish i had that center cap on that rear wheel =(
althought i got in a accident so the rear driver side of the car is smashed in and the exhuast is bent to hell. so i wish the center cap was the biggest problem i have... sucks since i sold my protege and that is my daily driver.

.... I feel bad even showing you guys to picts of my FCs.... all of your cars look so much nicer...
[The red one is from when I first got the car... that corner is scraped and dented from an accident and so is the rear bumper and area just above the rear driver's wheel..
]
..The GXL looks the same except without the fan and half the pumps on the engine.

nah i had liability on it and it was raining with my bad tires. i had a new clutch in it so when i down shifted going around this corner i think i might has accidently gear locked it becuase all of the sudden the back end started to come out on me and i was doing ok counter steering but then i hit some gravel and the car just continued to go all the way around so i hit the wall on the right side bakwards.
i bought a rx7 sport with a blown motor for 400 bucks, so this weekend i'm swapping everything over to that. should be awesome. i went and looked to see how much it would cost to fix it and my friends dad said $1k would be a good start. swaping the parts over will be a lot of work but it will be cheaper in the end. and shell has new tokico struts and pioneer cd/mp3 player with speakers.
