I get payed the day before the toy run, gonna go get me some toys for saturday! For the Oly/Lacey/Tumwater people. Wanna meet at the safeway On yelm hwy or what. Lets figure this **** out like at noon or something?

Solution... Sears have multitudes of $5 toys!! if you can afford $5 to change a kid's kife..... then there is something seriously wrong with you're thinking

i was thinking where the south sound mall used to be (petco, hollywood video, new carls jr.) on pacific ave. there are no steep inclines to go over.

But really.. i have something to say... So im gonna say it. I REALLY love that our community is so jazzed about this event, and helping out kids who have it rough, kids who's parents maybe cant afford a big snazzy toy filled X-mas, or maybe kids who have no parents at all..... PROPS guys...You are heros.

BUT. I really hope the same people know that while they are making a difference to a child for one day out of the year, there's still another 364 days in the year and those same kids need just as much love, And that's an opportunity to make a difference every day.... How can we help them ? Now, im not saying i have the answer and im not trying to preachy, but it would be really cool to open another discussion on the topic and try to come up with a way to build on this great idea of Alan's... How cool would it be to be KNOWN as the group that gives back?

true that. i love the snow however, i foresee people (not us.... maybe ) driving stupid. kind of like the rain. people get even more retarded when it rains. they act as if they have never seen it.

on another note, who all is doing the pre-meet up north??? and if anyone from the Bonney Lake, sumner, auburn or buckley area want to meet up here then drive north, pm me.

count me in for the up north meet.

Haha..i love it... So heres a fun idea for the winter season.. but maybe next year.. A winter "Coat Drive" No pun intended. Similar to the toy run, but we donate coats to locate Seattle charities to help keep people warm in the winter ( good idea from chris m. )

The NW R-X7 club.. the "other rotary club" Pun intended.

Perhaps I will start a new thread, so as to not thread heist. But before i do... any interest in this guys?

What time are all the eastside peeps meeting and where before the drive down? IIRC the meeting in Federal Way is around 1:30 p.m.

I have a few toys, but may buy some more to really get my toy on.

i'm out guys and gals.

I never requested the day off from work as I never work saturday, today a girl got fired and they filled her hours with mine. Thus I'm working this saturday and a whole buttload of other shifts.
