New to Washington state (Rotary builder and tuner)
New to Washington, Tacoma area just here to introduce myself to the washington area. Im from tampa, Florida and been drag racing rotary's since I was 12 years old in my dads 1st gen FB. Ive owned over 40 Rx7's 1st, 2nd , and my favorite 3rd gen. I currently have a 93 fd running project and a Racecar 82' Toyota starlet with a turbo 2 s5 swap on e85. The Racecar makes 440 hp on 17lbs and im arranging to ship the car next month. Whats this area all about local tracks, dynos, and etc....? I do know atkins is also here in washington a bonus. The racing in florida is pretty awesome very competive and lots of tuners, builders and events. keep me posted thanks Names Sammy Oh I specialize in (microtech)

There are a few tracks around here, and we have a friendly community.
What part of Washington are you in?
There is some monthly meets if your close to Olympia/Lacey.

Awesome great to have you up here, but I bet you will find the track racing around here very limited and boring compared to Florida. Lot more talkers, not so many walkers. It sounds like you are a walker, I hope to see you around. Welcome.
There are not many rotary "shops" around here, and it sounds like you would have more experience and skill than most "tuner" shops around here. Plan on doing most/all the work yourself. If you need a hand just put it up here, buy a couple beers, and people will come.

Thanks its good to know whats going on around here. Im going to have to post pictures up of some work Ive done in the past. I Havent found a reliable dyno yet, But in florida the going rate by the hour was 50 bucks and hour on a dynojet. I doubt anyone does it that cheap out here. When the racecar gets up here next month im going to retune it, and see if the weather changes anything. Hopefully I can find some E-85 up here...
Intec Racing in Kent often has dyno specials for pretty cheap. I would give them a call. They are rotary friendly.

You are most likely going to need to custom order the barrels. I know a couple shops have been wanting to get a constant supply, but I don't know any that have actually done it. :/
