Talking A new convert!

Well, I haven't quite decided whether it's a good or a bad thing, but my wife has decided that first gen's aren't so bad after all. She doesn't care for my red 84 GS, but saw me looking at the silver 84 GS shell in the NW classifieds and was smitten. I guess color must make all the difference. So, I'm picking it up as soon as I can make arrangements, then of course I'll have to donate my spare engine, do the wrench work, and replace the interior. End result is that my wifes 7 will probably be cleaner than mine! Guess that makes me the daddy of twins huh?! His and Hers 84 GS's in red and silver. Hmmmm...... maybe I'll get lucky and she won't like it so much, then I'll have a new toy. Naw, she'll do what I did, she'll take it for the first ride and fall in lust. Damn. So, here's the new member of the family.

Are you talking about the one I left over there, or do you have another?

Wife wanted a mustang

My wife wanted a mustang, but hates her T-bird. Doesn't want anything automatic. First thing she asked was "Is it a stick? I don't want anymore automatics!" Guess I'll become a pro at installing clutches soon. "smoothe" isn't an adjective I'd use to describe her driving. Shame of it is I'm happy for her and jealous. Hate giving up my plans for mine, but hey, it'll probably make buying rotary parts less of an argument.

just say whatever part you need broke and the proformance part in cheaper, and more reliable than stock. thats how I get it done. its been working for years. but I brake parts all the time regardless. so some times I just have to roll on not broken stock parts till I get it fixed.

Totally did that! Told her since I'm "sacrificing" my motor and we both have 12a's now, I gotta get another for a spare. Just so happens that I can get a street ported 12a, so I'll be pullin the "ok" runner out for a spare, and droppin a street port in. Oh, and since she needs a rad, I'll be giving her mine and getting a "replacement". (just might happen to be aluminum)

Man, I can't finish this job fast enough! Wish I could take time off the "regular" job to speed it up. Gotta get that thing and get it in before these idiots finally decide to stop threatening to take my truck and just show up. Turns out with all the parts I've been hoarding and collecting for my car, I'm close to having all I need to do hers.
