ok i just got an 86 n/a rx7 and i was driving it the other day it started to over heat i stoped it before it got to bad let it sit for awile then it wouldnt start i pulled the plugs to find out i got coolant in the rear rotor and none in the front one that i could tell can any one help me and tell me what could be the problem or what to look at and when i got it to start the exaust really had a lot of collent smell in it please help i need it back on the road asap

it's the coolent seals .....looks like time for a rebiuld

 

theres only like 95 or 97 thousand miles on it i bought it in the kent area and what rebuild should i get and what do they cost

 

atkins does great rebuilds...jerry's little car shop is also a good place if you dont wanna do it yourself...but there are many places up here..

 

what type of motor do you want to build, stock or ported ? that is the question

 

i was really thinking to port it or i was thinking about puting a t2 in it how hard would the swap be

 

i have a s4 rear end if you need it actually i have everything you need except a motor and harness

 

well i think im going to port it to begin with but does anybody know someone with a n/a motor for sale just so i can rebuild mine

I know there was at least one NA motor for sale in the FS/WTB forum

 

well mines out being kinda rebuilt so now all i got to do is find a decent motor when i get money so i can attempt to rebuild my 88 gxl
