Need to know asap!

I am about to let this car i got go to the yard, but i need to know somthing before i do. How can you tell the difference between a GSL and a GSLSE gas tank?? I put it next to the SE tank i have and they look identical, but i have no GSL tank to compare those too, so i am not sure if on the outside they all look the same or if there is a difference?? I dont want to send it to the yard if its a SE tank but i dont want to hold onto another GSL tank.... (i bought the car, its a SE body, with GSL rear and GS doors and hatch, all time super mutt!)

look down inside the tank. the se tank has a cup recess at the pickup for the fuel to help prevent fuel starvation. Do a search on the first gen. section. Trochoid has a write-up on the difference with pics. Also SE has a different size fuel lines at the inlet if I recall.

Yeah its sad that i am once again killing another one, but all the ones i kill are only becuase thats the best thing to do.. The last one was an SE and it hurt the most as there was nothing wrong with it other than the frame was SOOOOO bent in the front no matter how hard i tried i couldnt get it straight enough to even get metal back on.... And this one by the time i get the cage out it will be swiss cheese and its already a "almost ghetto" race car without a title...

Thanks ray for the heads up, i will check it out in the morning!!

Here are some pics of it so you can see what i mean by i will be cutting it into swiss cheese (the cage is frame welded) Note the firewall though, these guys went all out on it to be a track car! But i want the cage in the pounder

Although it was a RECORD deconstruction, i got it from a whole car to NOTHING in 3 hours.lol... The cage will take longer to get out right than the whole car took to take to nothing

I got a great deal on it though. New tokico 5 way adjustable illuminas, new RB coils, the cage, 84 LSD with 4:88 gears, Corbeau racing seat, momo wheel, and new black carpet... Then he threw in 2 T2 JDM trannys and a MINT fmoc for a bill more
