I need a passenger side motormount, it just split apart, and i rented an engine crane to change the engine.. so i need to take it back if i cant put the engine in withoiut it, i figure it would be harder to put it in after the engine is in.. so if anyone has a motor mount Please let me know... the dealer wants 50 bucks for it WHAT A JOKE..... 253-227-2180

ALso cant get Counter weight off. nothing i do will get it off, i dont have the right tools or somthing.

 

i might have that mount if you want it. if i can find it, wanna hook up a case of beer in exchange? i like PBR or Coors Light

 

sure call. me... also ill add some beer to that IF you can Help me get this counter weight off the old motor and on the other one, I have 2 1/8th one inch drive socket and a torq wrench but i cant stop the moter or counter weight from moving.. its just me and its tough, call me 253-227-2180 i am in NE bellevue

 

next time i'm where all my parts are, i'll try to find the mounts. once i find them, i'll give you a ring.

try sticking a bar wrapped in tape on the end into one of the exhaust ports to stop the motor from moving, worked fo rme on my automatic to 5 speed swap getting the old weight off

eekk!! i woudlnt do that, might acidently break an apex seal!!! if your doing it on your dead motor then who cares, but be careful with your new one please!!!..

the fly wheel is VERY hard to get off, you need close to 300 ft lbs to get it off, your best bet is an air gun.... try loading the mtor in the back of your car and driving to a local lube and tune shop with the socket, they should take the nut off for you for free, or offer them like 5 bucks or somthing.....

im pretty far away and i couldnt find the mounts in the giant mass of storage my dad has..... to much junk over it

 

jeff20b showed me a ring gear brake that bolts on the engine and meshes with the gear around the flywheel.

 

i could use that Rubber passenger Engine mount, PLEASE
