Bruce My car is getting full suspention, even if I do use OEM turbo I'm gonna walk all over your T2, Just remember how my FB kept up with your T2 with a blown stock suspention. Willing to bet your suspention is untouched. Get a suspention if you wanna stand a chance. not to mention when the car is running I dd mine on back country roads.

Not sure if I'm gonna run the oem turbo or not. at this point I'm gonna have another check before I'm done, so I may spring for a turbo, and wiastgate. much bigger than your bnr.-

cleaned up the cooling fins and installed the SS lines on the oil cooer today,

FMIC is all done now, have the last pipe at FD3S to have the BOV flange welded on. finished that up last week at some time. also cleaned some of the oil off my front cover. I'm pretty sure everything was leaking??? Hopfully I can get that all sorted out. Thinking of blocking off the OMP and premixing..... still deciding. the amount of gas I use on a daily basis, would cost alot in 2 stroke oil.

I have everything for the clutch now. Just need an impact gun mine was stolen, or borrowed, and is missing. so if anybody has one that can bust that nut loose, and possably the socket that removes it and is willing to let me borrow it for a day or so, please PM me. If not looks like I'll have to wait a few weeks till I can afford a new impact gun.

 

I'm in Forest grove, its kinda out of the way. But anytime. If your talking tomorrow, I'll be here. I'm not sure about next week though, I'm not sure if schools starting back up. I need it to so I can get some funds though.

carpets all the way out, old harness for some aftermarket, early 90's baller stereo is all out. UIM is off, wiring harness is detached from the motor, ran a power wire for an amp.

Need more nice weather.

Old engine harness is out, all wires for the amp are tucked and ran. nicest amp install I've ever done. I took all the wires and made a harness, then ran it with the antena wire to tuck back into the brackets. almost looks factory. I'm gonna hide the amp under the storage bins.

Been cleaning up the tb and intakes. had a ton of oil from my turbo blowing. almost cleaned up. hopfully we have some good weather this week.

I'll be there for that turbo eaither the 14th or 15th bruce. I'll have the cash.

I have an fcd, no harness though. I had to steal a few plugs from the old one to make the new one perfect.

Today the weather was **** so I just spent organizing parts, and putting the front sleeve overs on the struts. had to file off a lip and put the sleeves in the oven but went together no problems.

 

ok ... i got 1 comin ................ put my eshaulst on kids 7 ,,,,,,,,, fast

 

Got the new harness with the neo spliced in, in the car now. old harness is obviously out.
Put on bruces headlight duct.

Got bruces BNR now, still to be installed. still have to strip the rest of the stuff off the keg, to get the new LIM in. Also have a turbo timer on the way, new shifter boot, mines ziptied to look not fucked.

Exhaust is all disatached, just hanging for now. turbos partially disconnected. only had a hour and a half to work on it. I'm going to pull the turbo and LIM next. and replace with the bnr, and bruces old JDM LIM.

then cluch/flywheel, suspention, rearend bushings, brakes, and put the interior all back in is all thats left.

Doesn't sound like much when I put it like that. but really, still tons...

So got a new ebay shift boot, its not quite as good as the stock one as far as stitch quality, and the lip up top, but looks alot nicer than my 20 year worn and held up with a zip tie old one. really you couldn't tell unless you really looked for the ziptie. and the two little wear holes from shifting. but the new one looks tons better. under 15 bucks shipped. I'd say good quailty for the price your paying. not professional, but works well enough. note that its still held up with a ziptie.just its on the inside now, and completely unvisable.
