Ok narrowed it down to being electrical. I did hook up my alternator and BACV connector correctly. What I did find is that if I go to the computer and use a test probe on either the pos or neg for each injector, I cant tell which one from my wiring diagram both show power, it allows the inector to turn on and I can run my car for about 3 seconds on one injector then a click will happen from inside the ECU and dies .....VERY WEIRD. So if it is the ground then I'm pretty much doing what the computer should be. I checked for any sort of injector relay and none to be found on the wiring diagram. I am getting a 12V pos and a 5 ohm neg on each injector connector, so thats not a problem.
Bought a ECU from Hades12 in GA, have to wait for it then see whats what....:S

.......the ECU was sent out this morning. 3 days out....Maybe wednesday but most likely Thursday. I'm going to be pissed if it still isn't it. It's the only thing that makes sense. Everything else is working......

I'm still alive guys. Still nothing. My injectors will NOT open. It's not the injectors themselves because I swapped them with some spare SE's.
I've exhausted almost EVERYTHING I can check. I need someone who is very knowlegeable about FI's to come and spend some time on my car. Willing to spend some good money to get this beast back on the road.
GET ME OUT OF THIS POS CRX!

Yay it starts but it shuts itself off after a second or two. I thought what the hell and swapped the two ignitors and it started. So I'm thinking either it wont run on just one ignitor or I got a wire thats grounding out in that harness over there. And all this time I thought it would be in the other wiring harness.....

kettlebutt hit it on the nose! 9/21/05 SHE'S ALIVE!!!! After I got it the point of it would start but not stay running had to do some more troubleshooting but came down to a little air leak after the Air Flow Meter. Put some duct tape over the hole and started righted right up. Have to let it run tomorrow for a bit so it will get to the point of of actually running smoothly but IM THERE FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! $3000+ later......custom made S5/S4/S3 Franenstein of a FB! I promised myself I wont run it hard until 1500 miles later... but its an investment that I wont let myself screw up now.
So much for my clean engine bay. Lots of dust since pressurewashing and spray painting. You all can bet that I will plan and be at some upcoming events! YAH BABY!

Since finding what was holding me up I finally took her down to the muffler shop and is getting a custom intake put on it, header refitted so no more exhaust leak, and maybe an exhaust tip
I'm ordering rubber couplings that should be in tomorow! Shes down there right now overnight. I really wish I removed my faceplate.....

so my intake is done today and I'm all pshyched out to finally drive my car. Pay for it and then go to pick it up later....DOESN"T START! Same symptoms as when I had an air leak. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I could dick around with them and try to tell them how a Mass Air Flow meter works for a RX7 and how it needs 0 leaks-no minute, tiny leaks or else it wont work. OR I could order a flexible tube that I know the bends are right and be out the $80 for them making the intake......I WANT TO GO TO THE IZZY"S MEET ON WEDNESDAY! That was my goal and I hope I make it..
BTW---with the exhaust extremely ported, the header exhaust leak fixed, and my old tip back on-IT SOUNDS F*CKING AWESOME for the short time that it runs!

post pics of the tube and maybe I can throw you a hint your way
But without assuming it, im assuming the size of the front of the tube is the same size as the engine side of the AFM, and the other end of the tube meets the trottle body plastic perfectly.
You should try a silicone coupler like they use for intercoolers between the tube and the afm! assuming they are the same size that would make sure there are no leaks!

indeed. I bought two to rubber couplers for intakes. one 3.5" and one 3". and the tube looked good except i dont think there was enough of an "S" shape so the top made bend made the rubber not able to be completely flush with the pipe after the clamps. I went down there yesterday just to check on her because its outside their locked gate and I guess they gave up cuz the couplers are in my front seat in their original packaging. So here goes plan B. Saw some flexible intake tubing in a special order catalog at Westbay........now all if have to find is a reducer.

SHE LIVES! I'm so happy! I got the new intake installed on Wednesday and it took some tweeking but she runs, she runs well! And just in time to meet my goal and went to the Izzy's meet! Great meet btw. I didn't know about the white elephant thing otherwise I would have brought something. I thank whoever brought the small flashlight, duct tape, and needle nose plyers! And to my suprise she's not sucking lots of gas like I thougt. Or maybe cuz I'm keeping it below 4K...... my custom sweet mounts for the FC oil cooler helps keep my engine nice and cool besides the help of the efan. volt guage does not drop at all (FD alt) when I have my lights, blower on high, and my 12" sub bumpin in the back-SWEET! All at the same time being so very quiet- almost stock but full RB exhaust from header to muffler-no cat just RB presilencer. Havent felt the secondaries kick in so I cant see how the Pineapple racing sleeves do yet.

Congrats, man. Theres no better feeling than when a project finally comes together. Thats funny, I was a tech down at Jeep for a while, well, more like a glorified lube guy with a lot of other crap to do. I saw your car whenever I went up on the hill for whatever reason I was up there. Nice looking rig, never knew it was anyone on the forum. I was driving my 323GT, but you might have seen my buddy and me ripping around in his white FB, black wheels, really loud. Good stuff. Congrats.

You still around? Ya its a small world! You guys should come to an Izzy's meet once in a while. I'd like to get KarenKathryn to come again now that we moved it back to Mondays. My buddy with a S5 vert is coming now that we moved the day. There's 3 Rx7's and you could be the 4th ripping down highway 3!
