My Local FB

I figured I would show you folks my horrable FB in kirkland.

http://www.faefox.org/~skunkie/rx7/

I donno, needs alot of work... Major issues atm?

Heator core leaks
Rear wiper dont work
cracked right rear lens
ghettorigged FPD fix
door seals need replaced
drivers side door is prolly easer to replace then to fix previous owners botched bodywork
radio and dome lights dont work

Its a slow process, the next thing I am going to do, is get the heatercore working again, so its not a feted swamp inside when the engine warms up. Luckly the engine was recently rebuilt and runs nice.

I will very likely be about, I plan on a total restoration, and while I am not going to rice it, it will look nice.

This is my first project car newer than '69, and my first non-industral rotary

Blue IS quite a beauty! One of these days I may even actually get to take a ride in her? Sorry last time I was in Spokane didn't work out as planned Deena. When I come with kettle things will be different. Until then... Sorry for thread crapping.

welcome fellow GSLSE owner! I have lots of mods on mine and almost have everything replaced or upgraded.
first thing first....rear wiper
check to see if the electrical contacts are actually touching each other when the hatch is closed (wiper will not work when up). commonly these contacts which are adjustable just get pushed up and no longer touch

radio: check the fuse
dome light:check for a power connection with a little test light for all the positions...possible water soaked wires, dome light assembly, door switch, or just a fuse
door seals: ebay
heater core: 9 times out of 10 its not actually the heater core that's leaking. its the heater control valve on the driver's side. if you have a right angle screwdriver you do NOT have to remove the whole dash to replace this, it just takes a long time.
FPR..........well you could just use an aftermarket FPR and hook up a vacuum line to it or just replace it :S
lens: you can get one of those at any junkyard

good luck and feel free to ask any questions
