My Car Is Ruining My Friday Night

I talked to Quin about my problems and he is suggesting that it is the fuel filter.

IceFD3S: wat up
MajorPixel1337: Its the weirdest thing, my car wont start properly
MajorPixel1337: I know it has somthing to do with my fuel
MajorPixel1337: i have a cut off switch in the back of my seat that has been having problems
MajorPixel1337: well i tried starting my car just now and it wouldnt turn over at all
MajorPixel1337: so i figured the switch must have been bumped and shut off.
MajorPixel1337: so i turned it back on and my car started
MajorPixel1337: bad idle
MajorPixel1337: it hardly held
MajorPixel1337: as if somthing blew it wouldnt hold a proper idle
MajorPixel1337: i reved it a little
MajorPixel1337: and the car died
MajorPixel1337: i started it again
MajorPixel1337: bad idle
MajorPixel1337: this time i just let it sit and it held the idle, but the car sounded like crap
IceFD3S: fuel filter, fuel pump wiring, fuel pressure regulator
MajorPixel1337: im thinking its the wiring
MajorPixel1337: cause it keeps shuting off on me at the same time
IceFD3S: fuel filter getting plugged up can do that
MajorPixel1337: cant be the wiring actually
MajorPixel1337: its a black and white stripe wire that was cut and a wire which connects each end goes to my cut off switch
MajorPixel1337: i cut the wire and made it one again
MajorPixel1337: and it still did the same thing
MajorPixel1337: crappy running and shutting off at the same time by itself.
IceFD3S: could be the actual wiring to the fuel pump could be corroded though
IceFD3S: my bet would be on the fuel filter though
MajorPixel1337: k
MajorPixel1337: ill check it out then

What do you guys think?
