MX-3 question

a friend of mine is looking at a mx-3 and i was wondering if any body has driven one before.
its a good looking car i was mostly wondering if it handles and has the git-up and go?

if I remember correctly its mechanically the same as a protege'

So no not very fast, as its an econobox, but I think it still holds the record for the smallest production v6 (1.8L). I think that only came in the SE models tho.

i had one once, it was a hell of a little go cart.. Put it in the wallamette river though,lol.... Floods of 96 was not the best for me, learned not to go 80MPH into a dark back road that is near the river when there could be flooding...It was some scary ****,lol

I owned a '93 MX-3 GS (1.8 V6) for 5 years. I loved the car! It has a variable intake system VRIS that feels almost like a really small turbo past 4,000 RPM. It was very reliable and a great looking car... I would recommend one to someone any day!
