How's it going fella's.... Just had a question for you guys. I currently live in So.Cal i might be moving to Oregon, Salem to be exact might have a new job . I was wondering how the state inspection works over there. I have an 84 GS, and over the years i've removed all the emissions, everything, i run a RB Exhaust modified carb...etc...etc. So how hard is it going to be to pass up there.Im guessing im gonna have to start going to the junk yards. Thanks for any info...

there not as bad as california, but see if you can register you vehicle in a city where they dont have to go to deq, , but usually they do a test to see how your emissions are and look at your exhaust to see if you have a cat. and you pay the fees and get registered its not as bad as california, they have never opened my hood in new and older cars , good luck heres a link to oregon deq, www.oregon.gov/DEQ/ well let me know how it goes , good luck

 

Dude, come to Ontario, Oregon and register it here. They don't do ANYTHING!!

When I registered my 7, all the did was verify that the vin on the title matched what was on the car....that's it and I was on my way.


Oh, you are going to love how ******* cheap it is to register a car here compared to Cali.

Awesome guys thanks for all the help, seems like i wont have anything to worry then. So Salem is in Marion County. I'm still not to familiar with that area. I 'll be flying out there soon to check things out. Glad to see that i wont be the only 7 out there.
