Moved to Kent have some ?'s

Well glad to be up here first off. I am going to try to start making it to some of the meetings now. Ok so my question seems a little lame but here goes. Where can i get my oil changed? I want a respectable shop to do it no jiffy lubes or oil can henerys. I moved from a house with a tempature controled shop to an apartment and can no longer change my own oil. Seems lame but i just dont have any other choice.

How far are you willing to travel? I commute about 35 miles south of my location to Stage Auto Center in Kirkland. They do most of the strenuous work on my FD and my Taurus. I don't have an accomodating garage or driveway to work on my cars... Great guys, great service, and a very spacious shop. They are just off of116th St NE behind the Subaru dealer. They do basic maintenance, autobody/paint, alignments, performance upgrades... I've been using them for about 5 years now. I'm not awared of any shops in the Kent area I'd trust. Some people might say Intech, I'd srecommend otherwise..

Exclamation changing oil

I work for a place changing oil and etc. Ive seen way to many juffy lubes and other shops leave drain plugs louse filters leaking etc. The best advise i can give you is do it your self its not that hard and you can be shure everything is tight and the right amount of oil is in the car. besides its cheaper to do it your self. I wouldnt trust anyone else with any of my cars but thats just me.

I don't have access to a garage and I change my own oil, do other regular maintenance, minor mods, etc. Just have to wait for a day when it's not raining too much.

well like i said i have done everything myself for the last14 years but i just moved Dec 1st. I CAN'T change oil at my apartment building. Its not a matter of wanting to its against the rules, all my tools are just north of portland, like i said i feel real lame, and I know a total of zero people here so there is no garage to use. That is why i am asking for reputable shops, I would have no problem paying a reputable shop a couple hours labor at probably close to $100 an hour to do my oil.

Ah, that's understandable. Sucks, though.

Yeah, go to Jerry's.

like i said, go to jerry's.i don't think he would charge to much for an oil change..but he certainly knows what he's doing..i had him install a 12a from atkins. He was the only person in the shop to work on it. With jerry there is great quality work.

Grae (endneu913) is a stand up guy. Ben (Fumihiko) has done many a task inside Grae's garage... If I lived closer I'm sure I would use his garage too... Maybe we can all pitch in and get a lift, Grae? lol

grae is a stand up guy.....and hes tall too....and he likes the idea of getting 7s back on the road and keeping them there
and tim with a statement like that you have to remember that i did live there for a while which makes it alittle better...or atleast in my head....
