We have been talking about this for a while now and finnally found a time that works good for most of us. Lets meet up again at Abby's About 1 or so. If you have not been up to Mary's Peak before you are missing out. The drive up is a very fun one with lots of twisty windy roads our cars love. The veiw from the top is amazing especially on a clear day. You can see all up and down the cascades from Mt. Raineer to Mt. Shasta and many peaks in between.
Kevin and I are going up on Tues. or Wed. to check out the roads and get a drive time so I will have a little more info then.
Hope to see a nice group of 7's at the top.

Too bad I just sold my RX-7... right now I just have my Wolfsburg and BMW. Otherwise that sounds like a lot of fun.

 

Its alot of driving for me but if I have gas money I'll be down again. Brian and I had a good run on the way back. found some back roads between Corvallis and Independence and cooked my brakes. Hope to be there

Also for anyone that wants to take the 3/4 mile hike to the very top (highly recommended if you have never done it before) bring 5 bux as it is a pay area.

 

I will not be making it but Wednesday was fun.............That was the hardest i have driven my vert since I got it..........

what do you mean 3/4 mile hike up, the gate should be open, and last i checked it wasnt a pay area, oh and devin, that sounds like a challenge to me, if i can get out of work we will have to drop by my house and pick up my fd, you all should stop by my work on your way outa town, see if just maybe i can get off work early, theres 4 of us there anyway

 

I was there on Wed dude and the parking area at the top is now a pay area as of last summer.
And I'd like to see how your FD will fare against my SE.
It should be fun. I'll lead on. the way up and follow on the way down.

yea that was fun, cooked some tires, didnt get arrested and well you didnt beat my fd by to much, but i havent driven in months so between that and your tires and suspension being better you had a tad bit of an andvantage threw the twistys, get my new suspension wheels and tires hopefully sometime soon, we should plan for a bigger bbq next month or somthin, get some more people involved, i dont mind cooking more burgers

that exhaust went together soooo easy... chris you need to work on your drift control so we can tandem cookie.

 

lol my donut and your donut are different, i plant the passenger front tire and spin around it, but yes some tandem drifts will be fun, i need to get a new set of tires on the back tho before we go up and practice some more

 

For those that wanted to go and didn't ya'll missed out big time.
We had a BBQ afterwards and generally had great time.
