Making my own Comp tester
Been planning on doing this for some time and I should have it working with in the month and gonna try and spend less then $150
The idea is pretty simple although im gonna try and make my own USB plug in and a program that will read the wave format
found a nice thread from FDjunkie who used a serial cable the idea is about the same

Rw-7 I got the idea when you and Hoofhearted aka Bob dropped off my engine and showed me the comp test with the scope Or atleast I believe it was you who came with him when he picked up the 10 AE

heres a couple pics. Kind of hard to see but you get the idea.
Yes it was an osiliscope. Gambone had made an adapter out of an air conditioner sensor that fit into the sprk plug hole. Basically what it does is takes the pressure and converts it into millivolts that the osiliscope can read then we convert that info back into psi.

After much searching the web I think I might of found a nice price on a air pressure transducer that was designed to read pressure in air bag suspension for trucks contacted the company to find out all the information and hoping it handles 150 Psi or better Ill post up the sensor after I get the information
All right the sensor is rated up to 175 PSI!
