Machine shops

Looking to get my plates grinded and lapped and housings resurfaced etc. I'm in Oregon. Any leads to any shops that can do this for my rotary housings and plates. Thanks.

Have you called pineapple to see if he offers it, or at least knows who can?

Sorry man, this is 2024. Everyone seems to be operating like that and we seem to just accept that as normal.

Rob happens to be out of town. I'm not aware of anyone local who's done a repeatable job (not turning things into potato chips). I've considered sending things down to Mazdatrix, since I know they will inspect the parts.

That's the best bet and or lead so far with Mazdatrix. I've heard of Kurt Robertson but even they it's hard to get a hold of. Also not sure why in Oregon it's so damn hard to find someone to service rotary plates and housings. At this point I'm going to measure and make sure everything is in spec. Im still in the unstacking stage. Then reach out to a couple of machine shops in my area. This will definitely be a learning experience. Could even be costly lol. But o well.

Racing Beat in Anaheim CA grind/laps them too. I have a mid plate there right now, expected to be done by end of week. They called me this morning to let me know they received the part and give me an eta.

I believe Kyle Mohan Racing can grind them as well.
