Looking for a fc crew on the eastside

Well i am in belleuve, and i currently have a ls1 rx7. I have nothing against rotorys just wanted to do the swap. But it looks like i am not allowed to any of the meets so just wondering if any body would just want to get a cruise with me together for fun. I would like to ride in a powerfull rotory. Looking to see whos on the eastside with rx7s here are some pic of my whip. Before and after.

I would say yes to hanging out sometime, but the car's still in limbo....
I need to order a transmission, put the suspension bushings, T2 diff in, and get the shocks ordered. hopefully by the end of next month I'll have it done. just been feeling broke.
I plan on hitting the drag strip sometime in april too

****, bring it on, and us 1st gens like to drift a little also. remember, all the meets, drives, bbq's, and tech days are for all cars. pissed on or not. hell, pretty soon i'll be rollin a 302 1st gen. ha ha ha. but need a few things taken care of first. so feel free to show up at izzy's. or any of the other get togethers we have.

by the way, that engine looks good tucked in there.

ITS GUUURREEATT, what i love most about it is i made 340 to the wheels at 3300 rpms and made 350foot pounds of torque at 2700 pounds. Also the car weighs 187 pounds lighter from the swap and stripping the back. Also got 28 mpg when i drove it to Idaho over the summer.

Hey boostmr2, I think you live close to a buddy of mine in Newcastle. He's got a G35 sedan and a Lexus SUV. I'd like to check out your car sometime, looks like you did a great job from the pictures.

mine won't get that mileage, I'm running an auto. I wish I had a 0.5:1 OD.

Nice car =)

I'm at UW right now, but I'm back on the weekends fairly often. Just have a bone stock N/A FC right now (have got 4 pot calipers/5 lug conversion, looking for wheels), but planning on an LS1 swap when I get the opportunity to do so. I usually go backroad driving around Fall City/Preston/Snoqualmie, we can go for a bit of touge sometime perhaps =P

10lbs of boost. the factory blocks are a thin wall casting and are only good for about 400hp n/a and less with boost. it was running on the edge of its limits it was a granade waiting to go off anyways

every motor has limits at which things go boom, even the LS1. stay within them and you'll have a lot of fun, push them & things get expensive, fast.

Your very right every engine does have its limit, and every engine can be expensive depending on what you do.
