looking for 85 gsl-se
Has anyone seen a gsl-se in a junk yard, or mybe one forsale, doesnt need to run i will tow. Just want all the parts i can get soo i might as well get the hole thing. Not looking to spend a hole lot soo i was thinking that a junk will let one go pretty cheap. I can use all the help i can get, I live on the rock oak harbor, I have all the means to tow. ( I do know finding one is rare, but you never know )

Dan,
I am in the process of doing a 13b-rew swap into my GSL-SE. This has resulted in a lot of parts that I do not need. If you need something let me know and we can work something out.
BTW, good luck on finding a SE in a jusk yard. I remember calling around to tons of different yards about 6 months ago and no one even had a 1st gen let alone a GSL-SE. You might get lucky though.

Airport Import wrecking yard near bremerton raceway has a GSLSE 84 or 85. i dont know how much they sell cars for but they have that, a whole bunch of 12A cars and a few S4 FCs.
But they are dicks, have horrible customer service, and will rape you for every red cent that you have. There was a TII shell there, dont know if its still there. Had the front susp, and thats about it, I think.

i have a '84 GSL-SE, running, with an '86 motor and intake, that i'd sell for $900. it needs work (coolant flush, and it needs a 1st gen style water pump or a way for a fan to clear the radiator with the 2nd gen style pump - and the intake system needs to be reworked, custom style to eliminate leaks), and i don't really trust the oil injection system, so i've just been premixing, but it's got lots of good parts:
- trans is good, shifts well in all gears, doesn't make excessive noise outside of 1st
- clutch is good. ACT style with about half it's life left on it
- tires are probably fine, just need to be driven on to work out the flat spots
- engine is an '86 with approx 130k mi, runs fine.
- SE style oil cooler that DOESN'T LEAK
- stainless braided lines
- dual belt alt pulley, not installed
- new(er) trans mount, not installed.
i've stripped and blocked off all the emissions gear and the 6-port system - all ports are open all the time.
i bought the car for $800 about 2 years ago and it died in a month
so i put a newer engine in it. all it's doing is sitting in my garage. and i need to make room + funds for my 125cc vespa rebuild project or my mr2's suspension goodies.

I don't have a complete GSL-SE, but I do have a complete intake system, from the air filter box to the lower manifold, including the airflow sensor, the computer and the complete wiring harness. I also have everything you need to build an SE motor, from the rotor housings to the water pump, and some excellent transmissions.
