The car is in Corvallis... you guys should check it out. Quite the conversion and not terribly difficult.

lol i saw that and was waiting for someone to bring it up, it would be interesting to see how well its put together. seems like that thing would be slow as ***** with a unmodded 12a.

It is a stock block, but it has a header on it and 2 mufflers after... pretty uncorked. You'd have to wind it up all the time but the 12As were really good at that. It isn't that much heavier than a 1st gen now... probably closer to a S4 in weight. I'm not sure what the final drive is but it does have the S4 gearbox, so the gears are a bit taller than in a 12A 7.
