WA Long time RX7 owner needs help

Well, im still somewhat new to the west coast. Been here two years but I figured the scene here would be somewhat larger than north carolina and mid-east coast. But alas, not so much. I simply need to find someone to install and order a three rotor 20B. From Mazdatrix to pineapple, to atkins no one seems to help me. I am doing a major build by making my dream car. Axiom has me for parts, ILL TECH said they could attempt an install, Exotics and Premium vehicles in Belluvue who bring the lambos to HIN will do my veilside kit and paint. I just need help putting this 20b in my car. Anyone know who i can turn tooo??

Have you looked into Corksport? I'd give them a call if you haven't already. Good luck on your project.

They're willing to work on Rx7's? I know they work on Subaru's as my suby is there now. Hmm...

What up dude? Havent seen you around. Ya i pick up a montego blue too but mine is just meant for my project. Not even driving.

Back to project though, as for Jeff....dont get me wrong when it comes to rebuilts on fb's and fc's and miatas he is good but third genes not so much. Guy said it cost 25k for the swap and motor alone. Sorry but i know its been done for less than 10k. IF you have a fb or fc go to jeff but us fds try somewhere else.

I can try talking to surgeline but i rather a dedicated rotory shop do it. Corksport is doing some work on my car but they told me that they havent done a 3 rotor so i donno.......of courst tho i talked to some random guy and not the main installer named jason.

Japan2LA for motors or the FS section
Could always send your car out to pettit or one of those conversion places it'd be cash but doesnt seem like that's too much of your worries if your getting a veilside kit put on and painted professionally since that in itself could pay for a nice FD lol

i would not go with the typical new subframe and modify your steering. company on the forum called "defined autoworks" builds engine brackets, they modify the intake manifold. relocate a fitting on the steering rack, and i think modify the oil pan (unless your running dry sump, then you wouldnt worry about the oil pan). in my opinion its the best option for mounting a 20b because you dont have to modify your tie rod ends at all. if you dont care about using bump steere tie rod ends then you can always go with a hinson supercars subframe, or A-spec tuning makes a subframe as well. but defined i believe can probably even source an engine and do an install for you if you want, they i think are located in calli somwere, not sure tho, hope this helps

I have 5 20B longblocks in inventory now..
So if you need the motor still, PM me...
There are few shops here in SoCal that could do the swap.

What kind of budget are you working with?

Stick with a rotary shop.

I have not visited Corksport in a while but every swap I have see come from there was well done. All were 2 rotor swaps though.

Your pretty close to me. If you decide to take the project on yourself let me know.

negative gentleman Corksport is no longer working on installs unless you bought the part from them online. They cut back so that they could concentrate on offering more performance parts as well as factory parts online. Still a great company and they did an awesome job on zerodrift's car.

forged performance in PDX is across the parking lot from pineapple, they are pretty good at what they do. They would be right up your alley.
