little question

sooooo, i miss my fc, long story short was gonna build the motor (still has awsome compression and very low miles though). i have all these goodies to go on a built motor, garrett gt40 with dual 44mm tial WG, aeromotive 1000 fuel pump, 1600cc secondarys (still trying to figure out primarys), power FC, upgraded fuel rails and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, and all my suspension and brake stuff.

so pretty much asking if u guys/gals think i should just throw it all onto the motor as is, running mild boost, just so i can drive it THIS YEAR AND SUMMER. or keep gatherin money to have the motor built next year at best and run the amount of boost wich my intensions were for (high hp goal).
let me know what you all think lol

I personally beleive that you should wait and get it done the way that you want regardless of the time it takes. Thats may just me though.

well my 2 cents from what ive been told by rob at pineapple racing is a bridge port is alot of money for the little gain in power over a large street port, he always tells people if u r considering bridge port that for a little bit more money u gain significant power from a periphrial port. but thats just what ive been told. so i figured id let you kno. later

Ya, streetports can make huuuuuuuge power, without the additional tuning headache of a bridgeport. Think 750+ WHP from ErnieT's 13B... Maybe more now.

What I would do: Build what you have and enjoy 400WHP for a couple years... J-Rat on his stock-port, s4? engine made around 450WHP and held together for a LONG time before a freak accident blew the engine. (WG actuator disconnected/broken).

Erik,
Last I saw ErnieT was just below 800whp and his next goal was to break 800whp... Not sure if he's done it yet. And that's a 13brew with a streetport and a GT42.

Earl, I don't know if you've ever been in a 400whp RX7... But it's lightning fast. Enjoy your 400whp then if the motor goes get your large streetport or even better peripheral port

Don't be in a rush. Do it once, do it right.

If you want, I have an S5 N/A core you
can rebuild and run until you get your
motor built up in the background.
