Lapping Dat at PGP in Kent WA 5-26...

I just came a across a good place that has a track day/lapping day. The place is only in Kent WA. The track is a decent size 2nd and possibly 3rd gear. Here is the fun fact. It's close. it's cheap $125 for full day or $75 for half day that's so much cheaper than track days any where. More seat time than an event for the money than autox, go-cart, and cheaper than big full track event.

Here's the link;

The next lapping day is Wednesday MAY 26th. Anyone else interested?

Holy shnickes! I had no idea this was up and running. I need to put in for a vacation day and do a lapping day. This looks awsome.

I did this last year in my FD. It's pretty fun, mostly 2nd gear, but can get up to around 80mph on the straight. It's good for learning low speed car control, it's cheap, and it's easy on the car.

Just realize that they have a "nite" version. If you read their application that session is 5pm to 830!!! Not bad. Work hard play harder!!! But forecast doesn't look too healthy. May have to bring my slower car.
There's plenty of spot available for 5-26. They said just
show up is even ok!

Wow. What a dam blast. I went down there today despite the raIn. I took the slower car instead of the seven. Surprisingly there was way more grip over wet than I though. The star spec held nicely over the water. But that track is so bad ****. It's tight with nice difficult section. I have to say I love the slight elevation changes and the apex berm and rumble strip. It's quite fun to hop the wheel over them. In the straight I was able to hit third with my 111whp car but it's slowing down part that gets you. Since there was only four of us there. We got the track all to ourself. So I ended up fading my stopping power quickly. At one point almost running thru the barriers. Haha. So if anyone goes have you stuff together. Cos I was able to do 6-7 laps before it begins to fade. I planned for full day(7hrs) but ended up running only half a day cos full day would have been too much for the car and we had so much seat time just within 3hrs. But if any one interested I do recommend you go. It better than autox and cheaper than Full size track. They said they will try to fit more of these event in for sure. So keep checking their calender or call and ask. Hopefully next time it will be dry so I can being the seven out to stretch her sexy legs a little.

This is the best part of all. I was super surprise on how "relaxed" they were. I am used to autox tech spec. But these guys didn't even looked at my car. They didn't even looked at my helmet. But I dont know if it's because there was four people there. But yeah I paid and he said just give at least 5-6 car lenght between each car. Since it was wet a few people spins out here and there but no flag or nothing. Maybe it will be more strict if there's more car.

So I highly recommend that anyone who attend, make sure you check over your equipment. I mean it is you in the seat and dont overdrive your limit. It is a smaller track with no run off. But it's hella fun if you keep it safe.
