ok so i took the motor out of my 86 got it in my 88 and now i cant get it to start anybody got any ideas i got fuel and fire but it just wont start i thought i floded it so i un floded it and i still wont start sounds like it want to but wont

 

if you got fuel and fire, try the famous push/pull start. sometimes it's the only thing that works!

well i figured it out last night and the problem is the rear rotor is toast so it time for a rebuild

 

that was my guess. if you have fuel air spark and no running motor its probably a compression problem

 

ya the rear rotor is basicley toast

 

ok well i have a spare motor thats not blown but when i start it it smoke very bad but it smells like oil what would be the main thing to go wrong that would make it smoke
