just got my toyota back from the body shop
I took my toyota to Speedway Autocraft & Refinishing out here in Monroe near the speedway for some front end work (re-aligning the sheet metal and repairing the headlight assembly). I got the estimate on Friday afternoon, dropped the car off this morning (Monday), and got the car back the same day. They were kind enough to give me a lift up the road to work after I dropped the car off, and were very quick with the work.
The car looks much better now (not perfect, I need to repaint the bumpers since they're all oxidized and faded), but they did the work I asked them to, much quicker than I expected them to, and for a lot less money that I was prepared to pay.
They quoted me 3 hours at $42/hr. Apparently that's a special price 'cause a friend of the guy who runs the place referred me, normal price is $46/hr.
So anyhoo, I thought I'd share my experience in case any of you fellas are looking to get some body work done. They do custom work, too for you guys who need a mariah mode 1 kit put on right
Talk to Fred, tell him Brad with the MR2 sent ya.
* note, I don't have experience with their custom work, I just had a spot repair job done.
