after wrecking my blue fc i just picked up a non running white fc same year (88). i plan to take parts from my blue fc and putting them in the white one to get it running. if anybody wants to help that would be wonderful lol i dont know a whole lot. just putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

 

Its pretty easy. I dont know when I will be back up that way (next week) but I would give you a hand.

^^ off 84th and portland ave. dude before i got mine i rarely see them, now i see them a few times a week lol. i saw two on one street one time, same color. i saw an orange one on my street it was bomb.

here is a background on it though first.
this lady posted an ad on craigslist for 2 rx-7's both were 1988. one was red without and engine but had tranny, the other was white and more complete with really nice interior and a complete body. the woman is married. her son bought the white one as a project and got the red one for free to use as parts. he was getting deployed so he had to leave the projects. the mother wanted them gone. apparently they were asking too much so on the ad they said "you set the price" i said 100 for both and after going through hell trying to find a way up there and her realizing how bad i really wanted it, she gave it to me for free with title and all. here are the goodies.. the car has 127k on engine and chassis. the car has front coilovers, rear and front strut bars, clifford alarm, exhaust system (single tip) short shift, a magna flow cat back exhaust system (dual tip) that was just sitting in their yard haha. the car is fully automatic, 5spd though. it has all the options that the model offered. the seats and interior are in beautiful condition, all the electronics work. there is only one REALLY unnoticeable dent and you would have to be looking for it to see it. it had aftermarket front fenders so i ripped those off. luckily when i bought my blue fc it came with an extra white pass. fender because it had a dent on the blue one (i fixed it).

they just said it does not run. its missing some pretty big engine parts, which i was just going to swap out from my car. i got ryan coming over tomorrow possibly. we were going to compression test the engine and see what its puttin out. we will go from there.

 

hahahaha does it have one widebody fender and one stock?

 

^^ it had two widebody but it looked gay so i put a stock one on. getting another white stock fender tomorrow lol. sometimes i hate aftermarket

 

ryan come over and tested the compression. he said it was getting no reading so we used it on his car and he was getting around 105 so we know the tester works. i guess now i am going to take the engine from my blue car and put it in the white one. lol i need a hoist! D:

 

damn that is hella close to me we should hang out sometime always good to have another rx7 freak around.
