Joe's Widebody Project
Ok, so i am starting my project today..... I am fixing the spidering parts of the fiberglass and the million of little rock chips on the car. Its going midnight blue with a black interior. I am adding a spoiler to the body but otherwise just repair and repaint.
After that i am going to do a complete rebuild on the suspension and brakes. I have 5-way adj tokico illumina's struts and blues for the rear, eibach springs, new poly bushings everywhere, drilled/slotted rotors and rebuilt calipers, stainless lines and some other goodies. I am doing a T2 swap to it as well, although i am still missing the carb and intake set up and intercooler piping
. And its getting a cage and possibly a 2x2 rear seat 
.
Also wanted to know if i can mod a normal 79/80 cluster in it, or is the wiring completely different??
Got the car in and tore it down today, cleaning up the firewall so it can get sanded..... Tomarrow i will start taping and then body repairs...

Lot's of work!
This isn't your first rodeo, so I won't tell ya you have alot of work ahead of ya.
It should be a beastly ride when your done! 
I'm no expert, but I was told the cluster for the SA was different than the FB. I'msure you could "make it work", but not sure if ti would be worth the hassle. Depends on how bad you want to use the SA cluster.
Why do you want to use that cluster anyway? Just curious.

going midnight blue, and i have no clue really, its not set by chris yet but i am pretty sure he's decided its "blue baller"
....
I'm hoping to get a good amount of time on it this week, should get alot done, i am also doing the 72 rotary 510 project at the same time though....sigh, not enough hours in the day!!

well help me get the 510 parts car and get that old fender off and i'll shift all gears towards the 7

All taped up. And i got the fiberglass all mocked up and checked to see how the doors fit on the 510. I am going to get the damaged inner fender off and find a trailer to get the parts car for the new one... My BRE fenders fit great!!

510 is gonna be sweet! Looks like progress! Are the "skins" going to work ok for ya? " Blue Baller " is perfect! Nice choice Chris! LOL And the "accessory" you got him is F-ing hilarious! Now ya just need to find a window sticker that says " My car has *****!" lmao.

"Slight" progress
Well been pretty lazy this week, so not much got done. but did get some things done....
Got the 7 all prepped for body and paint work, i will throw up some of the nasty little cracks here and there. Got the donor 510, My old one back and cut it apart,lol. I now have everything i need to finish the 510
Got new filters for the fullmask and cleaned the mask so i am going in tonight to start on the "baller"
Oh, and just was given a set of rims for the wifes GP for free
