I can sympathize with you on this one. I feel like I am a realative rookie to the rotary scene and I have also had to learn alot the hard way and Im still learning. I still love the rotary engine (obsessed). As the head of a household full of 8 kids plus 2 more that have grown up and are out on their own I could never afford a sports car before. My wife had 3, I had 2 & we had 5 more together but thats another story. Rotarys encompass a very wide variety of owners. That's part of what makes owning a rotary an obsession for me and I can appriciate all of them. Your car is a work of art and you are a true rotary enthusiat. GL with your car. There's NOTHING else like em.

I'm glad you guys put otu this info. I have no idea where to take my FB when the poor thing finally needs a rebuild. With 140K on her it could happen in a year, a month, next week or maybe in five years. Since I have no idea who a good rotary shop is I like the idea of finding a places that do good quality work, with a reasonable price. I don't mind spending money but for my hard earned $$$ I want a car that I can continue to drive for years to come.

This 'I got the engine rebuilt and she blew 1800 miles' crap scares me. I cannot imagine any buisiness staying in buisiness with lousy service like that. Either there is a long line of suckers out there or people love these cars enough to just shovel money into them.

actually the shop is still there, but has a different owner now. another place to check for places like this is the "good guy/ bad guy" section. if you're gonna take your car somewhere, do a search in one of these sections and you can find out alot.

i se you are in oly. so am i and a few others. if you haven't noticed, we have a meet every second monday night at izzy's pizza in oly. hope to see you around.
