It might be in July, we're just having some issues with the spot we picked out, thats why we don't have a date set yet.

We now have 113 people interested in coming to this meet. 57 of those interested are from Canada.

What the plan is right now:
First day we can chill at Marymoore park in Redmond Washington and the second day we can cruise to XXX or some other place.

Though due to the large number of people that want to go, Marymoore park might be too small, so we are looking at other areas.

If anyone knows of a place near Seattle that can hold 100+ cars please let me know.

-A large park & ride?(not pretty, but not as busy on the weekends)
-BCC parking lots in Bellevue? the big mopar meets used to be held there.... would require coordination with events @ BCC
-60-Acres park in Redmond.... parking is gravel. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/14800+N...:::::f:EN:M:/e mostly just soccer fields there, & I believe soccer season is off in the summer... it's located on NE 116th between Willows road and 154th PL NE....... talk with the parks department

I say we establish dominance and get to the gardens early. That has huge parking lots and easily fits the amount of cars we have coming plus a little plus its a fun drive.

Is there anyway we can talk to the operations that maintains the park. I bet if we request it early enought they would be able to block off a parking lot for us. We would probably have to pay a fee, but it would be official and we would have a garanteed spot.

yeah, that might be a good Idea I know where their office is because I reserved some tables there before.....but then again it is a public park so its pretty much first come first serve, anyone want mukilteo beach? the parking lot is pretty huge(http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl) just zoom in on the park, They got grills there and bonfire pits...and Ivars and a few other restaurants and a hotel by the water for people comming from other states

I took a look at 60 acres park in Redmond & posted on the mazda3 thread about it. It's a large group of soccer fields, plenty of space and not generally in use during the summer(soccer season is Oct-May). The lot is gravel and well cared for, but we aren't doing burnouts there... we're parking. if it's arranged with the park, I'm sure the restrooms can be opened. there's also a few picnic tables just inside the fence.

Other events we can include(for those that want to go), if the meet is on the 2nd of August- drags at Pacific Raceways in Kent on Friday the 1st(4-10 PM), and/or a BSCC autocross at Bremerton on Sunday the 3rd.

just some thoughts......

I say some place NEAR Mt. Rainier or Mount Saint Helens

It would be great oppurtunity for those people who are coming from out of state who have never been to any of those two location to check it out.

It would also pose an oppurtunity for people to setup a nice scenic drive run for those eger photographers who like Mazdas and Mountains...

just call it the M & M International Meet.
