Im the other Codeblue. My cars been through a lot of changes good and bad. I like to share both the good and bad with the people that do have a supercharger from camden. My car had the 5in blower and it seemed to not run as hot as the 7in with efi/ecu. Do you have your car carbed?

With these blowers one can never have enough precautions to keep the thing cool since they cant be inner cooled yet. I suggest that you fab a heat shield under that blower, heat wrap your header, and a good e-fan. Im not sure what year your car is but Dan recommended to me in the beginning to use a 86 clutched fan in my 79, that helped.

Watch your oil levels...the blower sucks the oil big time. I usually check my oil every other fill up. Depending on the year of your car, Ive gone through trannys from the tourqe. Dave built a good strong tranny for me for $1,000 and it still is holding up.

Other than that if you need any help or info on some of the things done ourselves to make this run better, you can email me or catch me on aim, or pm me. Main concern is keeping it cool.

Nerp, 7 Inch FI Kit, with the FPR and I also have a SAFCII, Steve Kan will be tunning my car come may.

Yes, I'm still using the stocker exhaust manifold, so the stock heat shield is on there (even so, it still gets pretty hot at the blower, but thats because its a blower and its going to do that).

My car is a 1990 RX-7 GXL, I can't believe you're not happy with your power, I'm totally happy with my power (being able to keep up with a 350z is good enough for me, considering they've paid 20-30k more for their car and all I had to do was add a blower), especially with your car weighing less!

I check it at every gas fill up, but I really havent noticed any consumption more than normal. My tranny seems to be holding up just fine, with back to back drag launches.

I'm curious as to how much of a difference the bigger radiator and e-fan made for you? I'm also thinking about getting a TII hood, possibly adding a Subby Type Hood Scoop on it and ducting it directly at the blower so any cold air will hit the engine bay, specifcally the blower.

I'm also thinking about getting water injection...I've been looking into getting a custom aftercooler kit made but every shop I've talked to so far seems incompetent.
