With these blowers one can never have enough precautions to keep the thing cool since they cant be inner cooled yet. I suggest that you fab a heat shield under that blower, heat wrap your header, and a good e-fan. Im not sure what year your car is but Dan recommended to me in the beginning to use a 86 clutched fan in my 79, that helped.
Watch your oil levels...the blower sucks the oil big time. I usually check my oil every other fill up. Depending on the year of your car, Ive gone through trannys from the tourqe. Dave built a good strong tranny for me for $1,000 and it still is holding up.
Other than that if you need any help or info on some of the things done ourselves to make this run better, you can email me or catch me on aim, or pm me. Main concern is keeping it cool.

My car is a 1990 RX-7 GXL, I can't believe you're not happy with your power, I'm totally happy with my power (being able to keep up with a 350z is good enough for me, considering they've paid 20-30k more for their car and all I had to do was add a blower), especially with your car weighing less!

I'm also thinking about getting water injection...I've been looking into getting a custom aftercooler kit made but every shop I've talked to so far seems incompetent.
