put an edelbrock 650cfm carb and edelbrock performer manifold on my el rustino, as well as HEI ignition. it ran pretty damn well.

well since the elkey came with a quadrojet a.k.a. quadrapuke unarguably the second worst factory decision in history it's not a mod as much as it is a necessity.

the q-jet sux- i replaced a factory carb on my hs 67 firebird 400 with a holley 780 and damn near drove into the back of a truck when I opened the secondarys.
Damn, want big cubes and cheap gas again!!!
