Well pretty much as the title says, I need some car friends. Meaning that I need to meet some people who are into cars and Rx-7's like I am. Yes I could definitely go to some meets in the area and meet some people, but I would feel stupid showing up by myself in my Kia Spectra haha.

Don't be fooled by my screen name, by no means am I stupid or ignorant (although I may have been when I made that name). I would just like to meet some of the rotor heads in the Seattle area, help you with your cars, hang out, whatever it is that rx-7 owners in the area do. I have a 91 turbo II shell sitting in my mom's backyard waiting for me to finish getting my degree so that I can actually afford to make some progress on it and give it the attention I feel it deserves. But in the mean time I would like to feed my addiction for cars by helping some of you guys with yours. I work for free. Or for beer. Or food. I work at a repair shop in the U-district, so I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

If any of you guys do racing in the area, I'd really like to get involved. Just to be a helping hand. I love learning as much as I can about cars in general, and racing is something I've always wanted to get into, just never had the means to do it.

Well enough of this awkwardness, I feel like I just wrote a personals add for craigslist. Pm me or reply to this thread if you've got some wrenches for me to turn or if you just want another car guy to hang out with!

 

Coming to a RX7 meet in a KIA is fine....had a Lamborgini come to one of my meets in Carnation.

Nothing wrong with showing up in some other car. Just say hi, get them talking about their cars, and get to know people. Good luck on your project.

 

slammed gsl is putting on a big yearly bbq in august, id strongly recommend coming to that meet if your going to make it to one of them!

We have been going to the track more often since the weathers been good. You should come out there next event at PACIFIC RACEWAY. HOPEFULLY Ill be ready just converted my FD single but need to upgrade the fuel system before I dyno. Ill shoot you a pm me if anything you got a friend here. I don't know many people out here sadly im from Florida.
