Meh. If people really want to be green then they need to realize that electric vehicles will just pollute somewhere else. What you need is something like that hybrid that was on Top Gear a few seasons back. It would take hydrogen fuel, then turn it into electricity + power the vehicle that way. If you want to plug in your car, you're just moving pollution to that dam/wind farm/nuclear power plant that the electricity is coming from.

wind farm causes pollution even farther back down the cycle. When they make them they create huge amounts of pollution.

That and they also take up large amounts of space too.

If you think hydrogen power is cleaner than straight electricity generation and storage, you're delusional.

Exactly, where do you think the hydrogen comes from? Also OP's article is not new info and is rather old. Its dated July 2010. This is a similar setup to the Audi A1 etron or whatever.

ok so wind farms take up space were people dont want to live anyway cause its always windy, the process of making them causes some pollution just like any other manufacturing process. but it stops there, in return they generate large amounts of electricity with no bi product. i personally would love to save some of that crude oil so i can continue to drive my fd or any other fun car for that matter.
