There are plenty of female rx7 owners in California! You guys are just on the wrong part of the forum!

But it's true, most women don't know about 7s; those of us who do, absolutely love them. My bf yesterday just got our FB running, and it is big fun to drive. My 'vert is down due to an accident so the FB will fill in until I can get my vert fixed.

Actually, I just talked to a guy in NorCal about buying a rolling vert chassis, who couldn't believe I was a female ("You're really a girl!" "Um, yeah. What did you think RX7_Babe meant?". It was totally funny!

Hey everyone look, finally a sister finally came out of the closet. I am glad to see one female to open up and say that she is a rotory buff. That is one lucky man there, LOL.

i know theres a few girls around. there was a post a while back about a pink fc with a chick driver/owner, that was cool. but i do believe there aren't many "younger" females on the forums or even that drive the wankels. most chicks dont care, dont wanna go fast and even when they do wanna go fast they dont know jack! i know of one girl who knows stuff about cars, the kinda girl who you can talk to about car problems or ask her how she fixed this or that. too bad she's a 240 chick. so females show us ur out there because when i talk wankel id like it to be with a chick now and again.

 

I am so with you on the part about being able to talk to a girl about a rotory and either knows what your talking about and/or is very interested in knowing about a rotory. The last girl that I dated didnt even know how to check her oil, and she drives a 99 3000GT. It would be nice to have a girl that can be a girl and still talk about car stuff.

 

yah id be soo refreshing to have a girl come up and say, "hey i like ur rx-7". fricken a if a chick came up to me and asked what motor i had and i told her 1.1 for now until the swap and she said yah i have a 20b in mine id faint, wake up and ask her to marry me. lol!

Not a good idea in a post soliciting female rx-7 owners to assume that we we don't know jack, particularly those who like to go fast. As someone who does go fast and helped make the car that way, yes, I do find it insulting and also a struggle to deal with and disprove stereotypes like yours most days.

Oh by the way, most folks call the 1.1 a 12A.

Its nice to see a woman not only into cars but into rotories as well, hell all honda owners dont know anything about rotories, men included, so thats one step way ahead of them, "you go girls."

Mostly we have dumb military guys that run in civics with big wings and an oversized exhaust.

 

i wasnt trying to offend anyone here i was just saying that in my experiance the average girl doesnt care about cars not saying that all girls are idiots who dont know cars. i wasnt trying to assume anything either, most people dont even know what a rotary and most people includes women as well. as for my turbo fb, ive put off the build for a short time because i bought a fc on monday for 550 bucks so im stoaked about that so when i go out and look for s5 turbo motors maybe i'll buy 2 and get a discount lol. but i may just rebuild the s4 na thats in the fc and put that in the fb i dunno yet. id like to do the turbo swap but id have eventually do a widebody or tub so i can catch some traction. i run 205's and i rub like a bitch in the rear it sucks
