alright so im going down i-5 and im doing well over a hundred when some guy gets into my lane, so i put it in fifth and start using the brakes and then was going to down shift into fourth at 80mph but i have a short shifter and the spacing is super close.. so it droped into second and not fourth ahhhh, didnt do anything but lock up the tires and make my tach wrap around, thank god for rotarys cause if it had pistons it would have blown the motor, car still runs fine so i dont think it really hurt anything but scare the **** out of me and my friend.

 

Oh sh*t!! Did that once in my old Acura I had before the FD.... Scary sh*t!!

I never use engine-braking because the clutch is more expensive to replace than brake pads....and as an added benefit I never over rev the motor.

 

when ur rotors warp and get so hot you fry your bearings it gets more expensive than a 100 dollar clutch.

haha why the hell not, i get bored some times and i just cruze, that and some kid in a honda was wanting to pass me so i didnt let him, stomed his *** lol. and also the freeway was quite empty cept for a couple cars, mostly an addrenalin junky what can i say

It's all spin... if you said: "Dude, I really wouldn't be going 100 down the highway, even if there's noone around, at the Least you'll get a ticket.." - Then I'm sure people would be much more receptive

and as for keeping the honda from passing -- at least the 7 is meant to be driven fast..

 

hey cgotto6 you can go to hell, and how old are you? do you have nothing better to do than sit at you computer writing and chewing people out on the internet. im not going to hit someone, i would put my car into the rail before i would rear end some one when im going that fast, and yea there were only like 2 cars on at the time, the honda and the one that pulled out in front of me for no reason, he was fine in his lain nobody in front of him the guy did it to be an *** for sure. this wasnt saposed to turn into a hate thread but i guess some people just have to make it that way, it was just a thread about a miss shift so if your going to talk **** just keep it to your self.
