Forget Kito... I'm done dealing with him... Nice guy and his fab work is great, but my car was in his shop for 6 hours and I did 90% of the work he maybe spent an hour even near my car and he charged by 5.5 hours of labor. Not to mention the hour lunch he had. He tried to scre out the Volvo guys promissed thema dyno day rate then when they were a few guys short he tried to up the price to $100 per person. So these poor guys are all frantic calling everyone they know just to get 2 more people so they can save $40 each.

if we can get about 15 people it'd only be $50 per person at intec. price per person depends on how many would attend, so i'd recommend everyone interested put down a deposit or something. if 17 say they show up for $50 a piece, and only 8 show up.. someone's going to be in trouble and have to pay the rest of the tab. lol
Yeah wasn't happy with KAS either... Had a dyno day for Volvos there and they were just not very friendly and their dyno wasn't cooperating for a lot of the day. Reading really low as well. Not to mention space at their place in Ballard is VERY limited
i've heard carb con has gone downhill in the last couple years..
they had a customers civic on the dyno, overheated it and blew a radiator hose, and blamed the customer for bringing them an unfit car.

Yeah their dyno is state of the art DynoJet awd in ground adjustable wheel base, but their service has gone downhill for sure. They left me an IS300 I took them with turbo and haltech and a bunch of other stuff with CEL's galore and the guy the car got sold to took it to a friend and it was incorrect wiring, even tho they swore the Haltech was wired correctly, it in fact was not. The tach didn't work, they were not very friendly, and they are very defensive and unwilling to work with dissatisfied patrons. I was disappointed with their service and tuning. When speaking with them they were very knowledgable and seemed much more competent than other shops in the area, but that did not turn out to be the case. I wouldn't recommend a dyno day there, they won't let you touch your own car when it's on the dyno.
I've seen a lot of great dynos at Carb Connection cuz i live literally walking distance from it, they are pretty legit but hear nothing of the civic blowing a hose. maybe it was his fault
thats weird though definitely somethin to look into

Kito's on the other hand was dissappointing, and they do not let you drive your car.
That's very odd... I guess it adds to my disappointment in their shop that they would tell me that and it not actually be a policy. Altho maybe it's changed... I was there last right after they put in their new dyno...

fawk carb connection as well. just a bunch of pretend know it all's. noone there knows **** about rotaries. i wouldn't walk with in a mile of that place. Well not unless it was to visit Reading Rainbow.
Let me know I would like to dyno my turboed 8 sometime really soon. I may just go to somewhere in Seattle/Tacoma area and just pay for like 3 pulls. I just upgraded my old T618Z to a 60-1 BNR Turbo!
Does anyone recommend any places?
