Nope just rain and cold wind here in the PDX right now. They keep saying it is going to get colder and snow but nothing here on the valley floor.

This is gay, we had snow for about 3 days and it melted and haven't any since, which was a day before Christmas.

I am more of a summer person, but dammit if it's going to be cold, there better be 4 feet of snow on the ground

It is so up and down every year over here. Last year, it was like the snow would never stop falling down, this year, it has been all but non-existent. Probably have a mild summer as well, then it will snow 6 feet this next winter and summer of 08 people will cook to death in their own cars.

Heh, Des Moines has about 5 inches now. My dad had to put chains on our Honda Odyssey to get it up the hill by our house.

Lots of snow in corvallis. I don't think it's snowing right now, but it was coming down hard a few hours ago.

When I was in HS and driving, I had an old '72 chevy luv that I started putting back and forth to school with when I was 14 (had a farm permit). We lived on a big *** hill, and it rarely would make it up the hill....about 300ft from the road to our house.

It was fairly common that I would park it at the base of the hill off the side of our dirt road, and just walk up the hill. Sometimes, I would get a run at the hill, buy seeing how it had a bend in the road and I slide into the pasture fence one day trying to get up the hill and had to repair the fence, it was just easier to walk

I saw a few hundred cars abandoned on NE Inglewood (in Sammamish, WA) and E. Lake Sammamish. I waited till midnight to drive home from work and made it 99% of the way home then got stuck at the top of the hill (SO CLOSE!). My S2000 rolling on bald (cords almost showing) Z-rated S-02s didn't help things

I got my friend to bring me her chains off her truck and I put them on the S2K and it was smooth sailing from there!

Snow is a four letter word and it's getting dirtier by the minute! My car stayed in my driveway from Wednesday until Sunday. Talk about cabin fever, boredom and trying to stay out of trouble! The day it snowed I was just getting over a bout of strep throat. We won't even talk about my power being out. Word to the wise, never offer the Power Gods a Malto Meal sacrifice, even if you've just cooked it on your BBQ.

Let's see, today is Wednesday, I've braved it down my hill 3 times in the past week. The "I chose to live in a remote area so I have to deal with the consequences" speech is getting mighty old and harder to swallow every time I say it. Thank God for good friends. I emailed one a grocery list and had another one deliver toilet paper!

It's not that I'm worried about my driving, it's the other idiots on the road!

I am done with snow for the year. Well, done with it falling around my house, anyway.

I've missed the last week of school, which sucks, because I have a project due in like two weeks that I can't work on at home. Hopefully I'll get an extension on it.

I must admit, though, baja bugs are pretty awesome in this type of weather!

HAHA Yes I avoid driving the FD, be it not licensed, since the one and only time I took it out in the snow a bus drove past me in the opposite direction and my car nearly spun into the ditch. Luckily I only did a 180 and ended up facing back towards my house on the edge of the road. SO I drove home and grabbed a FWD car! Now I have my SHO and it OWNS in the snow and ice!! YAY
