Good place to set up a rear end?

Need to drop a Torsen into a FB third member and I am looking for a good place to do the work. Had someone do it and he left it too loose, so I am looking for someone else, who do you suggest?

If you want it done right you have to do it yourself.

that may indeed be so, but not everyone has the time or inclination to do it 9 times before they get it right!!!

I'm sorry sir, i'm calling you out. YOU ARE WRONG! You have to know what the hell you are doing. It is actually an art. You have to paint the surface of the ring gear and see how it is contacting the pinion. That is a fine adjustment that can be hard to make. So you have to set pinion depth and bearing preload. They are a balancing act. Look at it this way. If you take your diff to "Northwest Differential in kirkland" (my personal choice too and i'm a mechanic!) Those guys build diff's all day, every day, since they have been open. They build diff's for drag cars that do wheelies and have nothing but positive reviews. Or you could do it yourself. Maybe you havent ever done it. But you read on the internets that its easy with some $30 tool. Then your rear end makes a bunch of noise and you break things.

Do yourself a big favor and pay some money to have a pro do it. I had a 4.7 ring gear put on a trd 2 way in my pumpkin on my ae86 and it was only $200 ish from northwest differential. Good guys, it was done in like a day.

Not trying to be a jerk here. Its just, i know its not that simple. And its not fair to get someone in a position where they break their car because you falsely said it was easy. Easy is an oil change or brake work.

Man....
