Yikes! That'll probably crack all the way around after it goes through some heat cycles. Molded body parts frequently crack at the seams.

not always if they are done properly, large body seams, maybe(like fenders and rear bumpers) but something small like that has a good chance if properly prepped.

But it does have a lot of heat in it's future life.

My damn bumper skin started peeling at the sides where the laminate was thin. Polypropylene is a horrible substrate on which to do a wet lay-up, metal might be more forgiving.
