For Free: Cutaway Transmission
I took an FC turbo II tranny (pretty sure that's what it was) and I cut the side out with a hack saw to make a little display type thing for fun....
I'm moving now and don't feel like luggin it.
It's not pretty looking, but it does allow you to play with the gears, shift, etc.
I suppose if you wanted it for parts you could use it although I can't promise that the parts are 100% metal-shaving-free.
Anyhow, it's kinda neat.
Does not have a bell housing or tail housing. Its just the main gear section (gears 1-4).
Anyone want it?
You pick up in Sammamish, WA. About 75 pounds, not really too dirty, although you'd want to bag it or put some cardboard down just in case a drip of oil is inside somewhere in a crevice.
I'll try to get a pic tomorrow.
