First Post! Looking for some help

Let me introduce myself first, my name is Justin, im 20, and I am going to school in Tacoma, WA (PLU). I currently drive a newer car but I am looking for a 2nd gen RX-7 (89-91 but I will consider others aswell) both for insurance reasons, but also for a car that I can have a little fun with. I have a friend who might be selling his car to me but if this doesn't go through, are any of you guys selling or do you know anyone selling one. Color doesn't matter because I will be repaint later on and interior will also be redone (but I would prefer something in good condition because this stuff won't be done for a while for financial reasons) In any case, I hope I can call this place my home and I hope I can be part of the club very soon.

Best advice I can give if ya really want a 7 is to just scour the NW forsale section and the forum's for sale section. I looked for about 2 months hardcore before I got my FC. Had been wanting one since i saw one like back in 87 or whenever, was a youngun and though they looked sweet, but just then finally got the resources to do so. Good luck on your search and hope ya get a 7, they are fun cars if ya are into tinkering and the like.

ok, thanks. I really hope I can find something, I have found a few on autotrader.com and cars.com but they are asking like $5000 for a 88 or 89, and from what I have read that is alot. I would prefer to spend $2000 ish so I can have money to actually do some stuff lol. I will keep my eyes open and look around some more but if any of you local guys see anything I would greatly appreciate any info you can find on what I am looking for.
