FD for sale?!?!?!

Ok, so I'm driving to work today and I see a red FD out of the corner of my eye for sale at a used car dealership down HWY 99. My question is, did this car belong to anyone on here??? I just caught a glance, but it looked nice. Also, my room mate had been at this dealer a while back while looking for a new car (pre-poverty), and they had a Turbo II for sale, it still is there too, but the outside of it is pretty beat up and they wanted about 4 grand for it. Not worth that much, but after over a month it's still there. They'll figure it out soon enough that it's too much for the condition it's in.

Go offer them 2k and see where it leads.

What did they want for the FD?

Is that up in the edmonds/lynnwood area?? If so that FD has been there for about 6 months. Don't know about the Turbo II, I might have to go see it. I bought my (first) 91 vert from them. Not a real stand up kinda place, I don't recomend them to anybody. The only reason I got my vert there was because i know about rx7s and the price wasn't too bad considering that every interior part was either missing or broken.

If you are considering buying from them DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON THE CAR!!!

just my 2 cents

Check to see if its a 94' R2/R1, auto. If it is, check for engine bay fire evidence.

If it's the red FD at the car lot just north of 164th st on the right side when your going north. It has a blown engine and they still want $9k. It's beed at that lot for over 2 years. Tan interior is ripped to sreads... Hayes built engine, and it blew who would've think it!! LOL!

Well I just saw the FD there the other day, and I drive by them EVERY day on my way to/from work. I checked it out last night (no dealers around) and it's red, 5-speed tan interior that appears to be in good shape. There were no price tags or year indication on the car. Also I found that there was ANOTHER Turbo II there!!! Freakin 3 7's for sale all at one place and all of them turbo'd. The white TII was in infitely better shape than the red one, but that means they'd probably ask for like 8 grand or something, the red one was all beat up and they still wanted 4k, "cause it's a turbo"

I saw the same red FD and stopped to check it out, the guy said it was the owners car, wants 21k for it. I popped the hood and it was very, very clean, no sign of fire, oil or anything else.
Saw a 1st Gen -SE in the back row as well.

There must be 2 cars people are thinking of here. There is a red R1 sitting in a parking lot in Lynnwood with under 50k on it. I didn't do anything to check the motor on the car (though I did drive it) and here is what I have to say about the car:

Interior was pretty much perfect except a tear in the passenger seat on the back. It got stiched up but if you look you can tell.

The exterior had a couple dings on the outside that theys aid they were going to fix and they told me they were sending out the rear spoiler and mirrors to get the repaint that every red one needs since they always fade. The rear drivers side where it meets up with the bumper behind the wheel well has almost ripple looking marks in the paint. I'm not sure if it got bumped or if thats just some other problem.

Under the hood is pretty clean, what you'd expect for a 40k mile car.

The dealership is a used car dealer, from what I understand I think they got the car from the mazda dealership. The car has been there for much longer than six months (they kept it in a little garage spot at the dealership) which according to the mazda guys, he's had it for a couple years now. The tires look like they've got some small cracks in them too which makes me think its been sitting.

It is a dealer and its really low miles so they obviously want a fortune for it, 21k is a bit high for a car that you have no history on that has been sitting at a dealership for 2 years. They don't like cars sitting around very long at those places...

Well I went to the dealer (West Coast auto works by the way) and asked about the cars. They have 2 FD's actually. One in the garage that they are fixing due to an engine fire, and another that is outside on display that is being sold for one of their friends through consignment, who wants I think 15,900 for the car. Also there is a white Turbo II, 88 or 89 I believe that is going for 4,900 with 130-135k miles on it. And last but not least, the beat up red TII that they originally wanted to sell me for 3,900 can't be sold right now as it has a massive oil leak. That's the deal with the cars I was talking about, I don't know where or what cars everyone else is reffering to, but I want that white TII so bad i can taste it, but it's probably not a very practical car right now as funds are low and it would then be my only mode of transportation. So sad.
