FD non flip up light conversion for fc

I was just curious how hard is it to put the FD non flip up lights on a 1988 Fc??? Or does everything fit easily? If not, what work is required?

Usually from what I've seen, they butcher the nosecone [cut out a piece, and cut out the area with the FTP lenses]
if that's what you're thinking of.. Please, don't.
