FC Non-Turbo
Ok, so my roommate is possibly going to get an FC, it isn't a Turbo II, but what I'm wondering is, is there a difference between Turbo II and the non-turbo model (other than the fact that it doesn't have a turbo). It's a red 91 convertable, not too crazy about the convertable, but still it's an FC.

uh...different powertrain/drivetrain:
- different engine
- different sized driveshaft
- different sized LSD pumpkin
- different sized axles
- different trannies
- different wiring
Basically, different car.
...convertables have an extra cross-member thingy that you need to remove in order to install any kind of aftermarket exhaust bigger than 2.5"...
uh, let's see...just a bunch more other ****...
how much is he paying for the convertible?
...because I have a daily-driven S4, NA, black, 5-lugged coupe that I'd trade straight up for that convertible. It's a definately a fixer-upper, but closer to a TII than that convertible's gonna be. I also have a bunch of TII stuff I'd toss in with the deal (S5 TII upper and lower manifolds WITH BLOCKOFF PLATES, radiator, control arms, S5 FULL CAR WIRING HARNESS, etc.).
bottom line:
I want a convertible.
pm me if he's interested.

Ok, I tried to send you a PM, but some technical crap was wrong with the site. Anyways, the dealer is selling it for about 7 grand, which is very high, even for a drop top. max it should be 5 g's for perfect condition, but anyways, the car is in pretty nice shape, from what I could see inside and out, haven't gotten a chance to drive it yet, but there are some spots on the front end and mirrors where paint has come off a little, looks like it was repainted, I think it was originally white.
Now for the black FC, what year is it again? And it's a 5 speed right? And you'd throw in some TII stuff, how hard would it be to get the parts swapped out and would I need other parts in order to get them in there? I could probably find a Turbo II for 7g's but, my friend may consider since you're throwing in the TII parts.
