Favorite/trusted NW stereo locations

Hey guys wondering if anyone local can give me some good advice on where to go, or what to get for stereo equipment for a FD?

I am sure I can handle getting something that will be to my liking, but I have met several “audiophiles” and some of them clearly know their stuff!

I wish to use the stock brackets for a base, now that I have finally got my hands on both the front and rear base model brackets.

The hitch to the whole equation is that it is not a “standard” system and must be connected to a carputer.

The equipment that I have right now is a xtant 403a and a 1.1i, though I have found a new home for the 1.1i minus the pretty chrome reveal in the seadoo ipod stereo

Any advise someone has for me I am all ears, or trusted people I could get in contact with that will stear me in the right direction.

I am not much of a ear collapsing bass kind of guy, more into clarity and sound reproduction if I had to align myself to a certain camp.

Elite Car Audio.

They've got a shop in Vancouver, and one in Portland as well. The one in Portland is their bigger shop. Give them a call, they know their stuff.

Cool I will look them up.

Anyone else?
I know there have to be at least 2 individuals in the entire expansive NW section that have car stereos or have opinions on what is a good direction to go right…..? or has the cat got your tongues

Again any help getting in contact with a consummate professional, or someone that has specifically done FDs, hopefully someone that has love for the rotors with experiance and is willing to work with me on putting something together in an acoustically dead (IMO) platform would be of great help.

I like Car Toys, in Beaverton and Tigard.

I had them put a new stereo in a 91 convertible, and they did an excellent job.

Good wiring, no shortcuts, and it all worked perfectly.

BTW, putting a new stereo in a 91 convertible is no small job.
