electrical help/meet
I am having some electrical issues with my fan blower/logicon and I cannot figure out how to fix any of this.
I am a super novice newbie. I was hoping someone would be willing to help trace electrical grounds and find a possible shorts so i can drive my car in the rain again. My problem is that my fans have stopped blowing, and i replaced the logicon and that did not help.. Please if anyone local can meet me in eugene or something id be grateful!

Have you checked the relays to the blower motor? They are under the dash attached to the blower motor on the passengers side. I would start there..

Here is a link to the Factory service manual.
Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals
It might help you find the problem, if not start a thread in the 2G tech section. A lot of those guys are really good with electrical troubleshooting.
Good luck.

what year is the vehicle?
I will assume its a 2nd gen as this is a common issue...?
The logicons go out on the circutboard. Id just reaplace it with another used one and be done with it. Ive seen this many times over the years with the 2nds gens and i just get a new one

if your blower fan is pulling too many amps it can cause the logicon to burn out. Since there is no blower motor resistor on those cars that you can just replace it kills the logicon when the blower fan starts to crap out. try a different blower and logicon make sure they are units you have never tried.
i dont have a multimeter and im not even sure how to check electrical stuff.. im very inept at it which is why i asked to meet up with someone...anyone... lol for help. I dont think the blower fan is crapping out since it works when you give it power so im confused
Amps!........ yes they always do work but when they start to gets old they pull more amps causing strain on the circut board/ blower resistor.
The FSM tells you step by step how to check it. And harbor freight has multimeters for 15$ at the most.

Have them replace the relays then.
Or have them test the blower motor or look for an electrical short, you said you took it to an auto electrical shop, they'd be able to do both of those things quite easily.
It is a factor that has to be taken into consideration. But if the logicon is not triggering the relay then its the logicon or the wiring and i doubt its the wiring. Replace the relay and see what happens
