I try not to make fun of ricer type people. They usually don't know any different.
I prefer to educate, not hate.
A lot of the honda owners I have talked to, are in the military, mostly because this is a military town, and the only reason they bought a honda was because they heard VTEC was like a turbo but none of the maint. LoL. But, after a bit of explanation, they get it, and usually say, well, at least I get good gas mileage.
I would love to have a new RSX Type S or a new Civic SI hatch. Not the quickest, but fun to drive, more HP then a tuned S5, and, still 30+ MPG.
With gas prices the way they are, MPG = win.
The RX-7 in the gas game = lose.
