D-car meet at TorqueFreaks this Friday!!

I just moved into town and would like to get some of the local drifters together so i can meet everyone...

a little about me:

my name is Justin Pawlak, i just moved from LA where i competed in the top drift series, and ended up finishing 1st. i've been drifting for a little over a year. i just recently qualified 1st and finished 3rd at the ProAm Nationals competition in Laughlin, NV, receiving my Formula D professional license. i would really like to help the drifting scene grow up here and help anyone with instruction or any questions they might have..

I moved up here to take a job at TorqueFreaks, and hopefully get the scene going more than what it is now...

So please stop by TorqueFreaks this friday for a little gathering to so i can meet some of you guys in hopes to grow the scene up here and help everyone improve their cars and driving!!!

you can get directions to the shop at TorqueFreaks.com or contact me via PM for any questions you might have... also feel free to invite anyone who might be interested...

thanks
Justin Pawlak

i dont even know where torque freaks is. . . n ive lived here all my life lol. whats ur street car? yah the 'drift' season is kinda closed up here right now. we had the last event of the season a couple months ago n it was pouring down rain. but i think sometime in febuary or somethin is when it'll start back up i dunno. most of the gymkhanas are sanctioned though unnatural ink, over here in beaverton. all the other groups either broke up or got kicked out.

i wasnt to fond of the unnatural event becasue they let some groups go like 50times and then others only got like 10 i sat around wating for 2 hours before i even got my first run in and there were only about 25-30 cars for the first few hours. if we could get some better events going im game for it. anyone know if the horse track in delta park will let people hold events in the lot seince pir is closed for the winter its pretty large and posts are few and far between.

are u kidding me?! seattle has soooooooo many events going on. some of the guys that come down from seattle come to pir for the gymkhanas and there are sooo many events. even track ****! like every monday u can go drift on a figure 8 type track and i think every thursday they have practice runs at some speedway where formula d was held. the day b4 formula d came a whole buncha the locals went up and drifted with the pros! seattle is the **** when it comes to tracks. i personally think id be sick to actually get on pir n drift that course, not sure if its the right type of turns or what not but honestly track **** is so awesome.

exactly, key word legal. it would be really nice to have a drift lot to go to all year or a track or something. drifting on the touge roads is scarey. mostly cause some of the good drift roads up here are residential areas or have no gaurd rails, **** even the ones with gaurd rails are scarey. i dont wanna hit gaurd rails, lol.

o n i would've come down today but i got like negative sleep last nite n then had to wake up early to drive my sister to work n then slept until 5

yah, exactly what im talkin about. and in the downhill 2nd half its nuts. all blind turns with walls at the entrance to the turn. its really scarey when u think o it aint so bad n then realize there is a wall coming up way too fast.

some people should get together and go for a drive on these fun roads (with me). ive only found a couple, and i dont know anyone else with a car that can even come close to keeping up with me..
anyway i'd like to roll through the mountains with 1 or many cars if someones interested, grip or drift. whatever. i just like driving.
on the drifting note- i dont really drift myself, ive put too much into my car to wreck it... but i'd love to ride along with someone that does like to get sideways.
