I just moved to the cda/spokane area i was wondering if there is any sort of gathering of rx7 owners around here

Lol I just started this thread too nobody up here really seems to care much bout the ''car life'' unless you have a subi. But I'm down for what ev if you wanna try starting a meet or drive. Also asnw.org is the local auto x chapter if your into that sort of thing.

 

Most people that own rx7's in the spokane area are meth-head trailer trash. There are a couple normal people, but not many.

 

the few normal people should start a get together, maybe some cruises. Something!

 

I'll talk to a couple ppl I've met up here and we can see bout a drive I did a fun run over by lake cda. I'll keep you posted.

 

I live like 4 Mins from cda lake =) but that would still be fun. I have a 85. some different color body parts from a fender bender it had before i got it. Got it for $250, has pretty nice inside. The engine has been been opened up and the oil control rings was replaced. I wanna do a lot of things to the car. So if you dont mind a 1st gen running around with you guys that would be cool.

 

I think every town has meth heads and trailer trash. most of those people you dont see because they are to busy getting high.

Anyways........ now that spring is coming we should set up a meet. We use to do poker runs, BBQ's go to the race track, but it got to the point that no one wanted to chip in anymore .

I'm down to get something started.....oh and welcome to Spokane.

 

Welcome to the forum. Yeah, there is a lot of Meth heads in Spokane, but I think more in the bigger cities. You get it everywhere.

I don't think most of the 7 owners here are Meth heads, though there are a few. Will be starting a get together probably at the beginning of May, but feel welcome to give Codeblue aka "David" a call @ (509) 599-4773, and maybe stop by and meet a few of us.

Yeah that sounds cool. I will give out my number over a PM if you want it. I just would like to get to know a few "local" guys so that maybe down the road I have any questions I have someone I can refer to. My brother in law is the only person i know that is rx7 smart but he is 7 hours away...

During the summer there is a few things i would like to do thats I dont feel 100% comfortable doing myself without someone with the experience there... Such as removing the rats nest, and other stuff....

So maybe we can all get to know each other =)

i am about 3 hours away but i am always finding reasons to get to spokane. i own a fd and i am down for meet and cruse anytime. cant really make it to any seattle area meets so we need to start to have some of our own.

spokane/newman lake area here. but my 7 decided to leak shitz tons of oil when i fired her up this spring an prob toasted my engine but always down to meet fellow rotor peoples! def have some kind of meet

 

Start a regular Spokane meet and people will show up. If you plan a drive let us know. If you plan a drive at night, at speed, in the twisties, PM me lol.

It would be nice to get some mechanics together or just some owners that want to BBQ get together and show off their rides. We own classic Japanese muscle a league of our own not defined by fart can mufflers and giant as spoilers! Stand together united and proud and when you pass a v8 like it was parked own it, because that just happened. Our cars are rare racing thoroughbreds, we should be proud.
